Time Off

I am thankful I have some time off. While I am not excited about not getting paid (no work, no money–employers are funny that way), having the time to get some projects done for Mom really rocked.

None were all that complex, although changing the kitchen light became a bigger challenge that anticipated, but that’s fairly common in older places. Just don’t know what you’re gonna run into until you open things up.

Also made the opportunity to dragoon the older boy into helping. He learned a bit. Got him out of his mother’s and grandmother’s collective hair for a bit and “coincidentally” got to just spend time with him. He responds well to just hanging out.

Didn’t get all the projects on my list even started, let alone done, but spring break is a week, so there might just be some time.
