music I am thankful for Mr. Mussorgsky again this week.

Here’s a clip of Vladimir Horowitz playing his version of the same movement featured last Monday (Pictures at an Exhibition: Great Gate of Kiev) on the piano.

For those that don’t know, Mussorgsky wrote PaaE as a piano suite. The symphony version with which most are familiar is Maurice’s doing.

But I think he done good.

While it would be easy following various variations of this monumental work of art, next week will be:
